雅思写作地图题答题技巧

一、雅思写作地图题——题型分类

地图题分两种，一种为地理变迁题，一种为选址题。其中地理变迁题，它描述的是一个地方（多为一个城镇）在一段时间的发展变化，考生应考试要求对某个地理区域在不同历史年代里的情况进行比较。
　　而选址题呈现的是某地（多为一个城镇）整体的分布和交通状况，考生对建筑物（如超市）不同选址的利弊进行比较。

二、雅思写作地图题——解题技巧

地理变迁题：主体段建议通常按照时间顺序划分主体段。题目中要求比较几个年代就分成几个主体段来描写，即每段写一个历史阶段。在时态上，开头段改写原题一般是使用现在时，而主体段和结尾段因为是描述村落曾经的情况，所以需要用过去式。
　　这类题型的关键任务在于讲清同一个区域在不同年代的差别，只有区别没有优劣。值得注意的是，在整个写作过程中记得遵循一定的空间顺序，让全文逻辑更加清晰。最后，在文章的结尾段概括不同历史阶段是如何发展变化的。

选址比较题：
　　主体段建议可以按照不同的地址来划分段落，需要比较几处选址就分成几段，然后每一段各写其中一个利弊。
　　至于时态：开头段改写原题同样是使用一般现在时；主体段和结尾段通常使用一般现在时和would/ could/ might等表示假设的虚拟语气形式。题目的关键任务在于讲清不同的地址各自的优缺点，并在行文最后结尾指明哪个选址相对而言更好 。

三、雅思写作地图题——专属词汇

常用地理位置表达：

A is located ……　A is situated ……　A lies ….
　　A is just off the road to …. A就在通向某地的路边上　A is right at the center of ….. A就在……的正中央　　A 紧靠着B　A is next to/ is near/ is close to/ is right beside/ is adjacent to B　A在距离B某一面……的公里/英里处　A is located/ is situated/ lies…… kilometers/ miles to the east/ west/ north/ south of B.      A位于B内的某个部分　A is located/ is situated/ lies in the eastern/ western/ northern/ southern part of B.　A在B的某个角上　A lies/ is located/ is situated on/ at the east/ west/ north/ south corner of B.

其他道路设施等表达：

道路通向、 河流流向某处  The road runs from…… to ……　e river runs/ flows from …… to …..　沿着河流/ 道路  along with river/ road alongside the river/ road　A在道路或者河流的某一侧　A is located/ is situated/ lies on the north/ south side of the river/ the road  the mouth of the river 河口　　A与B仅一河之间/ 一路之隔　　A is right across from B.　A在B的对面　A is opposite B.

增减变动表达：

在某处又增建了A   A was added to …../ An addition was made to …., which was A 　改动原建筑或者原场地  change/ modify 　A被改造成了B　A was turned into/ was transformed into/ was converted into B　A被搬走或者拆掉了　A was removed/ take down from　A was disappeared from　A被B取代了　A was replaced by B/ A made way for B　A的面积缩小了　The size of A was reduced to ( only half of/ one third of the original size).　A的面积扩大了　A was expanded　A was expanded to twice its size=e size of A almost doubled.
