When people go to college, some of them

want to live alone or live with their few friends, others want to live with a

family.

Task3

Writing Center change

the author of the letter support the changes in writing center. There are two changes, the first one is to hire more tutors, the second one is to open the center at weekends.

In the conversation, the woman agree with this idea. Since there are always a lot of students are waiting for tutors. Andthe center will be not overcrowded.

Task4

a concept of psychology

概念是：当怎么样时，人们会陷入消极的态度中而想不到积极的方面。

教授举了他儿子的例子。

说他儿子想当actor, 并且有一个很好的机会当一个很重要的角色。

当表演中出了一点问题，he forgot to tell a lines. 但教授夫妇觉得表演的很好啊，谁会注意这个细节呢?但是他儿子觉得自己很失败，没有表演好。之后，既是他又得到了一个机会去表演，他也拒绝了，原因是觉得自己不是一个good actor.

Task 5

女孩的父亲想have a dinner with her, and go to the theater after dinner, but

there will be a biology test tomorrow.

1. cancel the dinner.

这样有时间复习考试，但是她已经很久没和爸爸见面了，她也很想和爸爸一起吃饭。

2. 去吃饭，但不去theater.

这样既能和爸爸吃饭，因为没有去theater，回来还有时间能复习。但吃完饭可能很累，剩的时间也不多了。

Task6

介绍tropical habitat 里的动物的behavior.

1. live alone.

介绍了一个A这个动物。他们不是live in groups, 因为是live alone，他们可以forage enough food, 但如果是groups 就不可以了。

2.用sound来communicate

介绍HL这种monkey，因为树林里树叶遮挡，远处一般看不到彼此。所以用声音交流，可以相互知道对方的领地，避免不必要的争斗。
