 范文：

I’m going to describe a shopping street that I’ve enjoyed visiting many times in my hometown, The street spreads across several sites in the city center, and it’s one of the longest and busiest shopping streets in my hometown.

There’s an array of different shops and supermarkets line along both sides of the street and hundreds of stalls selling mouth-watering foods and drinks from all over China on the street. It’s a great place to find handmade crafts such as jewelry, ornaments, wooden toys and other

souvenirs, but it’s the food and drink that seem to be most popular. Probably the biggest seller is a hot, sweet local wine which is sold in a souvenir mug. Almost every tourist will certainly have a try.

The street was originally quite small,occupying just one of the central squares in my hometown, but it’s grown quickly in recent years,spilling over into maybe five other pedestrian streets and a few other squares. Apparently there are over 1000 shops lines along the three- thousand long street now, so it’s become a really big tourist spotattracting thousands of visitors each day.

The main reason I’ve always enjoyed visiting the shopping street is the fantastic atmosphere. No matter when I went there, no matter how cold or hot the weather was, the street was bustling with people until late night and there was a real festive feel.
