2015年3月21日雅思写作预测3月21日雅思写作预测3月21 雅思写作预测

1.Some employers are giving more importance to people of good social skills, while others think good qualifications are more important. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

支持前者:
1)Qualification equals ability to a large extent, and espertise generally determines the qualities of service, e.g. doctors, programmers, engineers, etc.
2)Some may say a few people without qualification can also become useful talents. But to ensure the efficiency of recruitment, e.g. those held by large scale enterprises, conducting employment based on the qualifications of candidates is proven advisable, especially in the first round.

支持后者:
1)In achieving many objectives, qualification cannot promise anything at all. For example, all managers have to be effective in communication and persuasion, which has little to do with their qualification. Also, many job positions require excellent interpersonal skills, e.g. marketing, sales, business, negotiation, etc. In those cases, degrees are virtually useless while experience bear much more weight.
2)Modern projects are often complicated and challenging that instead of individual talents, excellent teamwork is more crucial. Therefore, knowing how to cooperate, i.e. a strong sense of cooperation is more helpful to both employees and companies.

2.Spots and entertainment personalities have higher value than professional workers like doctors, nurses and teachers in some societies, why this happened in some society and do you think it is a good or bad development.

原因:
1)Psychologically, people, especially youngsters, need role models and sports and entertainment personalities can easily become those that are encouraging to ordinary people, e.g. the Chinese swimmer Sun Yang and faous band, e.g. the Tang Dynasty.
2)Some societies are highly commercialised and the intrinsic rule of which is that the more distinctive an image becomes, the more irreplaceable value it gains, hence the high income, e.g. David Beckham, regardless of their actual contribution to the society.

好处:
1)Entertainment stars can benefit the society through productions which deliver upbeat life attitude. Famous sports players can drive people’s zest for sport games, improving citizen’s overall fitness level.
2)Many of them participate actively in charity work, which raises a positive profile for citizens.

坏处:
1)Professional workers such as doctors, nurses and teachers have to go through endless tests and exammes to get qualifications, and their works largely benefit the society on people’s education and health. It appears to be unfair when comparing their salaries to the astronomical incomes of sports and entertainment celebrities.
2)Quite a few sports and entertainment personalities do not have sufficient education, and many of them misbehave, e.g. fight and swear, divorce and luxuriant lifestyle, etc. all of these are magnified by the mass media which produces damaging effect to young people who are vulnerable and imitate blindly.

3.Individuals and countries cannot help everyone who needs help in the world, so we should be only concerned about our own communities and countries. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

支持反方
1)Some countries are trapped in domestic troubles, let alone lend a hand to other countries, e.g. the civil war in Congo and starvation as well as water shortage in South Sudan.
2)A big proportion of international aids are abused by the government and authorities of many underdeveloped countries, causing hopeless corruption.
3)A good many international aids are devils in angel’s clothing, e.g. special funds are offered with strict things strings attached, such as taking charge of local resources and intervening domestic policy.

支持正方
1)we live in the same world, therefore it is our responsibility to give a hand to those who need help.
2)Butterfly effect: deforestation in Amazon will eventually lead to the degrading of air quality of New York.
3)Mutual help enhances international friendship and even eliminate hostility, e.g. China’s aids after the Tsunami in Japan.
4)It cannot be overlooked that international mutual assistance is no better than a fine wish, and reality nevertheless does not allow the happening of it. Old saying has it that dreams are always fertile, but reality simply remains barren. It is the compromise of the two that makes who we are, human. Thus, I would like to pin down on the realistic side o this issue. Meanwhile, it is crucial that only true aids are offered and countries develop themselves without harming others benefits.

4.Modern technology such as chemical fertilisers and machinery, provide people with cheaper food, but is causes negative impacts on people’s health. Do you think the advantages of it overweight tis disadvantages?

支持正方
1)large scale production by machinery focuses on efficiency at the cost of quality – lose taste of nature, e.g. home-made produces are more popular and expensive worldwide.
2)Some technology is damaging to human health, e.g. pesticide. What is more, to prevent food from turning spoiled, many producers use chemical preservers, harming people’s health.
3)Bio-technology, if not well-handled with full responsibility, will threaten security, e.g. some producers use growth hormone to feed poultry and livestock.
4)Certain irresponsible countries are exporting sizeable genetically modified food to other less developed countries, and even o so far as to monopolise food market at those countries. It is worth noticeing that the effect of genetically modified food, whether benign or malign, is not yet determined.

支持后者
1)Mass production made it possible for food producers to limit their cost, and sell food in much larger quantity and with much cheaper price than before.
2)It also means that more options are largely available to consumers, since the sizeable production and efficient transport eliminated the barrier of distance, e.g. Chinese people can enjoy watermelon in winter.
