2015年1月托福口语独立题难题解析（上）

Task 1: Your friend is concerned about a presentation that he has to give to the class. What advice would you give to help your friend to prepare for the presentation?[2014.1.18]

见到题目先分析，关键词是presentation和advice，即准备演讲的建议。题目是较为生活化的话题，所以很多同学立即会想到，人们在第一次演讲的时候会紧张，脸红心跳，所以必须让自己胆子变大，可以更加自信和流利的表达自己的观点。当然，这个细节足以构成我们45秒答案其中一个supporting idea，但是另外一个supporting idea，可能就比较难构思了。在此，建议大家可以采用说故事的思路来解答这道题。也就是说，我们可以从准备演讲的第一步一直描述到最后一步，在每一个步骤中我们可以有怎样的提高方法。这样就不怕45秒钟不够充实了。范例如下：

1. 接受演讲任务，研究话题，写演讲稿。

I would recommend my friend to do some research and write the draft carefully before she gives the speech. As we all know, we need to have a good understanding of the topic so we can make the presentation more informative and convincing. I think my friend can use a variety of sources such as the library and Internet to do the research. And she can write a good draft based on what she has learned.

2. 制作PPT等辅助工具，善用身体语言。

It is better for the presenter to make her speech more interesting, so I think some PPT slides, pictures and even videos are helpful when giving a speech. Because the audiences are easily attracted to these things and they can concentrate on your performance. The presenter can even use body language to emphasize her arguments.

3. 提前排练，克服心理恐惧。

A lot of people would feel nervous and cannot speak fluently when standing in front of a lot of people. So I would suggest that my friend should rehearse several times before she actually gives the speech. The bedroom is a good place to start because no one will listen to her speech and she will not feel embarrassed. After that, she can ask some of her best friends to be the audience and ask for some suggestions on her presentation.

4. 演讲的时候要专注，大胆的将已准备好的内容说出来。

Finally, when my friend gives the speech, she should calm herself down so she can speak confidently and fluently. In order to do that, she can avoid direct eye contact with the audiences and even treat them as robots, not human beings. So my friend can give a good presentation.
　　大家可以看到，我上面给出的思路都是尽可能的将所有细节加入，导致在段落篇幅很长。大家在真实的口语练习中，不必照搬原文。仅仅需要选取你想要说的要点，然后将上文的细节组合起来，就可以了。相信这个说故事法，可以帮助大家完成类似的事件题题型。
