雅思阅读：T/F/NG的答题技巧讲解

2014年考试情况：基本上每次都会出现，但是题量不是特别大，一般为4-6题左右。考试形式：题目中会给出几个陈述句，让考生会原文中去判断。

Do the following statements reflect the views of the writer in the Reading Passage?

YES if the statement agrees with the writer
　　NO if the statement doesn’t agree with the writer
　　NOT GIVEN if it is impossible to say what the writer thinks about this

或者

TRUE        if the statement is true according to the passage
　　FALSE       if the statement is false according to the passage
　　NOT GIVEN　if the information is not give in the passage

做题步骤

1. 找出此题中的考点
　　2. 定位词选择
　　3. 点对点对应做出判断
　　注意：False和Not given的判断
　　最大的差异在于选择false是题目和文章对应的信息内容出现矛盾，而选择Not given是题目和文章信息内容对应，并没有相关内容可以进行判断，所以这两个题目最大的差异在于矛盾与否.

考点

根据我们对于剑桥1-9真题的分析和这几年真题的研究，我们可以发现在判断题中考点有以下几点：

1. 绝对意义
　　例子：Indigenous Tasmanians used only four terms to indicate numbers of objects.（C6-T2-R3）

在雅思中常考的表示绝对意义的单词：
　　only, all, never, must, every, 形容词的最高级

2. 因果关系
　　例子：Modern technologies have led to a reduction in domestic water consumption. (C7-T1-R2)

在雅思阅读中常考的表示因果关系的词：
　　lead to, result in , because, so that ,
　　breed , generate

3. 比较级
　　Students in a suggestopedia class retain more new vocabulary than those in ordinary classes. (C7-T1-R3)

在雅思阅读此类题型中常考的表示比较关系的词：
　　than , as … as, equal, similar,
　　superior
　　inferior

4. 方向：这个考点考的最频繁的
　　所谓方向往往指的是在一句话中，因为一个单词或者一个短语，使得这句话有表示正负的方向关系。
　　我们来看几个例子：

As an indirect benefit, students notice improvements in their memory. (C7-T1-R3)
　　在这句话中，考点显而易见就是improvements这个表示提高的方向词了

Several species of wildlife in the British countryside are declining. （C7-T2-R2）
　　考点词为declining，表示下降

The taste of food has deteriorated in recent years. （C7-T2-R2）
　　考点词为deteriorated，表示变差

注意：如果担心自己方向词考点还是找不清楚的话，很简单就是去掉绝对意义，因果关系和比较级就是方向考点的题目了，因为前面三种都有非常明确的信号词给到考生。

第二步：定位词的选择，可以使用顺序原则
　　这个部分我们在一开始的章节中已经学习过了，如果已经有点忘记的童鞋，赶紧翻翻前面的内容，复习下。

第三步：点对点对应做出判断
　　什么是点对点：
　　所谓的点对点的意思是把题目中这个判断的句子分成若干个点和原文中的句子中的点作为对应，这样做的好处主要是为了避免有些同学花很多时间在分析句子的语法上，可以帮助提高正确率。

题目：Modern technologies have led to a reduction in domestic water consumption. (C7-T1-R2)

原文：But since 1980, the amount of water consumed per person has actually decreased, thanks to a range of new technologies that help to conserve water in homes and industry.

点对点对应：
　　题目中的Modern technologies对应a range of new technologies
　　因果关系led to对应thanks to
　　方向词reduction对应decreased
　　domestic water consumption对应the amount of water consumed per person

这样的对应结束之后我们就完成了这个题目，答案是True。
