The lecture contradicts the view mentioned in the reading with strong supporting evidences presented, aiming to further prove that it is quite probable that the big Argentina bird could fly.
Firstly, from the perspective of the length of their wings, the professor states his doubt, because according to the lecture, it further explains that the bird could have started flying with a running pose, and the existence of multiple such small hills where the fossil of these birds are found as well as its strong side bones and large feet is the indication of such possibility.
Secondly, judging from its muscle, the professor holds a different view, because referring to the lecture, the bird could have relied on thermal, the warm current, to glide, without moving its wings for hours, similar to many other animals, such as eagle.
Thirdly, on the point of the survival instinct, the professor never fails to express his concern, because in terms of the lecture, it indicates that the big bird lived on dead animals and they had to fly to search long distance of areas in order to find dead bodies.

参考答案
Advancement of modern technology seems to have provided people an easy access to friendship, when residents in any corner of the world are able to communicate with each other and become friends. However, it is surprising to realize that no matter what great efforts we have paid off to make new friends, long-term friendship, those sustain for more than a decade, merely blossoms. Therefore, when I am questioned whether the friendship is worth another try if an old friend has done something unpleasant to me, the answer is clear.
First of all, long-term relationship, which has continued without any previous trouble, is a strong indication that it will sustain. People become friends for some reason, either similarity in personality, interest, and life experience, or sharp contract to supplement what we lack. And to develop the relationship, it requires more efforts, how to balance when ideas conflicts, or how to remedy when in fight. Since the relationship has maintained for years, the partners involved shall have dealt with the relationship well and even if one of them did something unpleasant to the other, they know how to fix it up as they did in the past.
Furthermore, in contrast to average life span of human beings, long-time friendship shall be cherished. On average, we are going to live in the world for about 80 years. School is where we meet the majority of our friends. For instance, there are about 50 students in class, and only about 10 will keep in contact with us after graduation, 2 or 3 of whom will be considered as close friends, which means, after graduation, only 2 to 3 friends will be called old friends. Take primary school, when we are too young to understand friendship, middle school, proper time to make friends and university, when friendship is in some degree based on materials, into consideration. There are at most 5 to 6 close friends in our life and thus people shall be considerate before breaking up with any of them for any reason.
Moreover, a good friend deserves to be forgiven. The only reason we maintain a relationship with someone without kinship is that the person is worth that. And therefore, even if the one did something bad to us, the past happy moments with this person makes it necessary for us to give the one another chance.
To conclude, although long-term friendship is inherently strong and tight, people shall make efforts to cherish and protect the blossom, such as forgiving friends who have done something bad to us.
