题目：The restoration of old buildings in major cities in the world costs numerous governments'' expenditures. This money should be used in new housing and road development. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

思路分析：

老建筑不该被保护，钱应该用来修建新建筑，同意否?

答题思路：

不同意。原因有如下四个：

1. 反映城市传统风貌，具有教育意义，还能发展旅游业。
　　2. 拆掉会给一些老年人带来心灵创伤。
　　3. 新建筑可能导致光污染(玻璃幕墙)。
　　4. 城市的繁荣不仅仅体现在现代化建筑上。
