Sample answer
I’d like to talk about the Gabriel Library of our university. In fact the building which is located in the centre of our campus is named after Grabriel Chan, one of our alumni who donated it. And actually it is really a magnificent architecture. The 5-story building is in the shape of an open book and a ‘pen’. The book actually is the main building while the ‘pen’ leaning against it is the lift. It is said that the design was done by one of the most well-known architects in our province. Not only was the outside of the building amazing. Inside it the layout is neat and user-friendly. On the ground floor, you can see the check-in and check-out point in the middle, where the students can swipe their card to come and go. And if you need any help you just turn to the assistant at help desk which is on the left while on the right, you’ll find the student café, where you can take a rest or have a meeting or just a chat with your friends.
On the first floor, you could find a great many science books, all arranged in alphabetical order; while on the second floor you will see all kinds of journals, magazines and newspapers, and if you like you can sit in the sofa area there to read them. It you need any books or articles on art or humanity, the third floor is the right place to go. On top floor, instead, you will find some presentation rooms, where PCs and projectors are available. Another thing I shouldn’t forget to mention is that the whole library is covered by wi-fi which means that students could use their own laptops to connect to the Internet and it is free. So our library is just the ideal place for study. And that is why we, as students, think it is really important.
