雅思口语Part3：Photographs
Q1.Why do so many people like to take photographs (as a hobby)?
A1.I suppose most of them take photos for memorable moments. You know, time passes away quickly and never comes back, but a photo can make it permanent.Some people, however, just take pictures for fun. For instance, some of my friends simply enjoy trying their new camera.
Q2.Some people don't like taking photographs. Can you make any guesses about why?
Well, I’m not sure cus personally I love it, I mean, I like taking pictures. But I guess, perhaps they don’t wanna take the trouble. For instance, some people just find it hard to operate a camera. Only focusing the lens would drive them mad.
Q3.Do you think news photographs are an important part of newspaper stories?
A3.Definitely, yes. To be honest,I can’t imaging news without photographs. Actually the pictures provide perfect illustrations of news stories cus they are visual. Besides, as the saying goes, seeing is believing. In this sense, photographs are actually evidence, which make the stories more convincing.
Q4.Why do some people invade the privacy of celebrities by taking photographs of these celebrities?
A4.I guess, some people may do this out of curiosity about celebrities’ life. I mean, they may wonder what kind of person a film star could be beyond the screen.However, there are some other people whose purposes are plain mean, like paparazzis.They just keep chasing after celebrities and get pictures with which they can put into a certain tabloid so that they can sell more copies.
