雅思口语Part3：Travelling
Q1.What do you think people can learn from travelling to other countries? Why?
A1: The first thing that comes into my mind is – culture. From local food and drink to traditional clothes and accessories, from modern buildings to historic architectures, everything is just different and fun.
And, as you stay longer, you begin to understand that culture. You see what’s lying behind, like, how natural factors such as climate has shaped the culture. Also, you know how the culture has ruled people’s life, for example, what kind of behavior is considered etiquette while some others taboos.
Q2.Can travel make a positive difference to the economy of a country? How?
A2: Definitely. Actually tourism is a vital source of income for many countries in the world. In the first place, it directly benefits local economy coz millions tourists pay for goods and services they need every day. Also, it creates job opportunities for local people in almost all the tourism-related sectors, such as restaurants, hotels, shopping malls, travel agencies and air companies and all these sectors would, collaboratively, contribute to considerable revenue.
Q3.Do you think a society can benefit if its members have experience of travelling to other countries?
A3: I agree. Traveling brings a tourist pleasure by satisfying his curiosity and enriching his life experience. And when he’s back to his own country, this feeling of happiness would last and may just improve his overall well-being as a citizen and then it is very likely that he behaves more positively as a member of the society.
