1. Do you have many (close) friends?
Oh, yes, I have many friends and they are really nice people. I’m always hanging out with them, shopping and eating. Well, if you mean close friends, I actually think most of them are my close friends, we kinda of sharing each other’s life stories and secrets.

2. Are most of your friends from school(or university) or from outside school(or university)?
Well, I think most of my friends are from my school cos I am busy with my study currently, so there is no time for me to get in touch with people outside school.

3. Do you think friendship is important?
Yes, absolutely, I think friendship is vital for everyone. We need friends to rely on or share stories, otherwise life would be so boring. So I think friends are essential.

4. Do you prefer to spend time with friends or spend time alone? (why)
I would say I prefer to spend time with my friends. I am fond of that kind feeling such as sharing, socializing and hanging out…….and to be honest, I might feel lonely without friends.

5. Are friends more important than family? (why)
Well, it is hard to say, is it? For instance, they are like the parts of your body, family is people’s heart and friends are your limbs, a person could survive without some limbs …… but people will die without hearts.

6. What kind of people do you like to have as friends?
I’m into extrovert people, like easy-going, open-minded or positive friends cos I am quite friendly and even talkative, so I would my friends like me.

7. How do you keep in touch with your friends?
Usually, we use wechat, which is a phone chatting app to keep in touch. It is very popular between Chinese, people can use it to send voice messages, video calls or share their locations.

8. Do you think it’s possible to become real friends with the people you meet on the Internet, for example, on chat sites or personal introduction sites?
In my opinion, no, I don’t think so. I think people there are just seeking for chatting pal, not serious friends, they might be bored and find someone to chat for killing their time. Besides, people could be fake or unreal online since they cannot actually visually see each other, so I don’t think people there can be called friends.
