What the child did
Explain why it was funny
I would like to talk about a girl who is my neighbor. I remember it was last month when she paid a visit to my house. She is a 8-year-old student and out-going. We were chatting after dinner when she got to knew that I was about to go abroad for further study. So she came to me and asked me if my English was good enough for that.
And she said she wanted to test my English level. But before she started to ask, she said her teacher was from Beijing University. Actually, she was trying to scare me by saying that. So I said okay. Then she looked at me seriously and slowly stated the question: what is you come from? I immediately burst into laughter. Of course I failed the test. But I will remember this moment. I will definitely think of this conversation when I am abroad. I think it will always lead me to pay great attention to study.
