有了网络以后，人们看剧习惯发生巨大改变，还有谁会乖乖坐在电视机前，一天一集苦等电视剧呢，都等网上“养肥了”再看。

于是，在煲剧一族的推动下，binge-watch一词当选了柯林斯词典的2015年年度热词。

Binge-watch什么意思

Binge-watch并非最近才造出的词（new coinage），它在上世纪90年代已经开始使用。

Binge一词的意思是狂欢作乐、无节制的狂热行为。

所以，binge-watch就是疯狂看剧。

柯林斯词典给出的释义是：

Binge-watch: to watch a large number of television programmes (especially all the shows from one series) in succession.连续大量观看电视节目（尤其是一季电视剧的全部剧集）。

也可贴切地译为“煲剧”、“刷剧”。

Binge-viewing或marathon-viewing可表达同样的意思。

沉溺于剧集中的追剧狂人们则可称为：binge-watcher↓↓↓

词典编撰人员发现，在去年一年，binge-watch的使用频率增加了200%。

？Due to subscription services such as Netflix or Sky's NOW TV, or 'smart' digital video recorders such as Tivo, fans can watch what they want, when they want, for as long as they want.
由于Netflix和天空电视台的Now TV等提供的订阅服务以及Tivo等“智能”数字视频录像设备的存在，粉丝们可以随时观看自己想看的节目，而且想看多久就看多久。

The act or an instance of a male passenger in a bus or train splaying his legs in a way that denies space to the passenger sitting next to him.
这个词指的是公交车或地铁里的男乘客双腿大张，霸占座位，使得别的乘客无法坐他的邻座的行为或现象。

 
▌Clean eating 清洁饮食
A diet of "clean eating" refers to one which avoids processed foods and is heavy in raw and unrefined produce.
“清洁饮食”这种饮食方式指的是不吃加工食品，大量摄入生的、未经加工的天然农产品。

Ending a relationship by ignoring all communication from the other person.

Attempting to embarrass a person or group by drawing attention to their perceived offence, especially on social media.
通过让人们围观某人或某个群体不光彩的事情，以让对方感到羞耻，通常发生在社交媒体上。
 
“我在瑜伽垫上拉粑粑了。”国外网友玩得不亦乐乎的dog shaming或cat shaming，恶搞自己的宠物。

The landslide of coverage of Jeremy Corbyn's successful campaign for leadership of the UK Labour Party catapulted this new word into the list of words of 2015.
媒体对杰里米•科尔宾成功当选英国工党领袖一事铺天盖地的报道使这个新词一跃进入2015热词榜单。
