1、What is your ideal job?
My ideal job is to run my own company. Actually, it has been always my dream to have a company of my own. I think if I could carve out a successful career of my own some day, it’s would be a dream come true for me. I keep my fingers crossed that day would come soon.

keep my fingers crossed that…

2、What are the jobs that young guys kill for today?
Well, to my knowledge, I think the top jobs in modern society are IT engineers, college professors, advertising managers, financial advisors, pharmacists, psychological therapist, public relationship specialists, lawyers, urban planers, architects and veterinarians.

3、Do you think it is easy to get a job at the moment?
To be frank, it is always easy to get a job; but it’s get much tougher if you want to get a good job. As to reasons, to begins with, the competition is very fierce. Another reason is that job vacancies was in a short supply. And on the top of it, the job hunters are aiming too high, expecting too much while socially inexperienced, especially to those graduates. What they facing is a catching-22 situation.
to begins with 第一点,首先
job vacancies was in a short supply
on the top of it 最关键的一点

4、How do you think of the frequent job-hopping?
I think this whole thing has its a bright side and it’s dark side. Talking about the bright side, first of all, it’s a fantastic way to maintain passion in your work. You know, jumping out of a monotonous zone and you will have an infinite stage to display. And frequent job changes keep your learning curve high, make you versatile and knowledge. Finally, frequent job hopping allows you to build a professional and vibrant network. However the bright side doesn’t overshadow it’s dark side. Job-hopping too much would give recruiters an impression of being insecure, aggressive and not pragmatic, which definitely cause a bottleneck in people’s career.
 Hop
bright side and it’s dark side
keep your learning curve high

5、if you were the human resource manager, would you hire those guys who are always changing their jobs or those working for the same job forever?
If I were the human resource manager, I would prefer those guys who would like to stay in one job for a long time. I think long-term commitment and steadiness in a position are what would be looking for if I hire an employee. It won’t gain that employee any extra credit showing off his frequent job-hopping record in his resume. On the contrary, it might become a red flag, which would make him stand no chance of getting an offer from the company.
gain that employee any extra credit
make him stand no chance of…

6、Do you think people should work at weekends?
Well, it’s totally depends on what kind of job those people do. If people working in some service industries like shopping malls or restaurants, working at weekends is a must. You know, duty calls; but, if people already work from Monday to Friday, working at weekends might be a little bit too much. People would be totally overloaded with work.
a little bit too much 有点太多了
be totally overloaded with work 超负荷工作

7、Do you think people who are working at weekends should get double or even triple pay?
I think it’s pretty reasonable. You know, weekends are the time when people should recharge their batteries. Working at weekends means that they have to sacrifices their private time. Double or triple pay is at least a kind of compensation. In other words, they deserve their money.
 sacrifices their private time 牺牲某人的个人时间
deserve…   值得……

I suspected there would be trouble at the office as soon as the new boss breezed in on his first day. He was very competent能干的and he’d breezed through the job interview apparently, but he had no patience at all for anyone less able and he had a very sharp tongue. I noticed that as soon as he spoke to anyone, their face clouded over. He asked the office junior to explain some contradictory figures in such an aggressive manner that she froze up and couldn’t say a word. I could see her eyes misting over. By the end of that first day, his PA had stormed out, saying she would never return. The rest of us got together in the evening and decided that we had no choice but to try to freeze him out. We agreed only to speak to him if we absolutely had to.
