继前段时间《我的少女时代》刮起霸道总裁和少女情怀后，临近年关，喜剧又粉墨登场，邓超和孙俪的《恶棍天使》刚刚收关6个亿，《唐人街探案》又在元旦上映。《唐人街探案》本身虽说是喜剧，但光从秦风立纸片和他展示的非同常人的记忆能力可以看出，导演陈思诚想把这部剧变成中国的《福尔摩斯》。如果你只是笑笑过了，可就错过片子的精髓了。

当然，美人老师不是来写影评的，我只想问问大家，你们知道影片中，秦风所展示的惊人记忆力用的是哪种记忆方法吗？

其实，这种能力是英国最著名侦探福尔摩斯常用的一种方式，叫记忆宫殿（The Memory Palace），这也是国外许多侦探小说或电影中经常讲到的一种记忆方法。

《我是证人》中，杨幂回忆在罪犯车上的情景；韩国电影《监视者们》的女主角每次分析案情时，脑中回放跟踪案犯时的情节，回忆自己漏掉的细节；这些用的都是记忆宫殿的方法。

普通人真能拥有如此强大的记忆力吗？如果可以，那么对于正在苦苦背单词的童鞋们来说，不是一个大大的福音吗？

当然，视觉化记忆并没有那么神奇，但它确实有提升记忆力的功能。正在词海中苦战的童鞋们，不妨试试这种方法，帮助提高记忆单词的效率。

The Memory Palace has been used since ancient Rome, and is responsible for some quite incredible memory feats. Eight-time world memory champion Dominic O’Brien, for instance, was able to memorize 54 decks of cards in sequence (that’s 2808 cards), viewing each card only once.

记忆宫殿是把需要记忆的要素放置到我们最熟悉的场景中，从而帮助我们储存和回忆信息。

首先，记忆宫殿的选址可以是你想象中的，但最好选择一个你非常熟悉的地方，比如你的家，经常开车经过的地方，熟悉的街道等。这样，越多的信息可以被储存到更多的细节处。

While a memory palace can be a purely imagined place, it is easier to base it upon a place that exists in the real world and that you are familiar with. A basic palace could be your bedroom, for example. The larger or more detailed the real place, the more information you can store in the corresponding mental space.

其次，你要选择好行进路线，并百分百了解这个地方的细节。比如你家门口有个柜子，柜子有几个抽屉，走进去是走廊，走廊左边是镶嵌进去的杂物柜，右边是厨房，直走进去就是客厅……仔细地观察，当你走过每个物品时，都标记下这些物品，它们将会是接下来储存信息的地方。

Define a route. If you will need to remember things in a certain order, it is essential that you follow a specific route through your palace, both in the real world and in your mind. 

When you use your memory palace you will put individual things to be remembered in specific locations. Thus, you need to identify as many locations as you think you will need.  The key is to make sure the locations you choose are distinct from each other so that no location can be mistaken for another.

最后，将要记忆的单词一个一个放到刚才设计好的路线中去，放在特殊的位置上，然后浮想联翩，用各种要素加深记忆。最后，打开门，再走一遍，按照设计好的线路，看到一个物品，就回忆放在此处的单词，一步步推进，直到记住所有单词。

Place things to be remembered in your palace. Put a manageable amount of information in each place. For example, if your palace is your house, and you are trying to remember a speech, you might place the first few sentences on your doormat and the next few in the keyhole of your door.

Don’t put too much information in any one place, and if certain things must be kept separate from others, put them in different places. Make sure that you place things along your route in the order in which you need to remember them

这种方式有点像通过把单词串起来编故事来记忆，但编故事需要花费精力，这个则不需要。你只需在脑海里把过程过一遍，每次都从同一个起点开始，按照同样的路线，当你的脑海中浮现那些标记物件时，你所记忆的东西就会一一重现。
