Task 1

What are the disadvantages of moving to new places?
I can think of several disadvantages when a person moves to a new place. One of the biggest disadvantage, is losing touch with someone’s family and friends. If a person moves far away, they won’t be able to meet with the same people as often anymore. It would be inconvenient for neighboring people to see each other due to the increased costs in money and time. Other disadvantages, include safety and unfamiliarity. Moving to a new city could be dangerous. A person has to spend a lot of time roaming the city until he or she becomes accustomed to it again. If a person is new to a city, he or she could easily get lost or mugged, which could be very dangerous.

 Task 2

　　Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: Schools need to encourage students to be more creative and use imagination to b e successful person.

　　Well, I couldn't agree more with this idea. To begin with, currently, university and school teach students a lot of theories and concepts, which need a lot of rote memory. To me, it doesn't make a lot of sense since these kinds of so called knowledge are available everywhere, and students needs to be exposed to more creative teaching approaches. More importantly, imagination shelters people, and we can still be happy when bad things happen, and also we can find hope and inspiration when we are desperate if we are a little creative and imaginative.
