3月11日托福口语预测task1:
What is the most effective way to resolve the disagreement between friends?

Based on personal experience, putting everything on the table will be most effective to clean the air between friends. Because sometimes problem is not caused by saying something but by not saying it. Taking me and my best friend Trista for example, we have been being friends since the first year of high school. There was a huge fight between us, the cause of which had been quite blurry. After three days of not talking to each other, she finally came to me and told me what upset her. I really appreciated she did that otherwise I wouldn’t have known.

3月11日托福口语预测task2:
Do you agree or disagree that we learn from failure not from success?

I disagree with this statement. Because there are more failure than success. Learning from success is more effective than from failure. Like a famous software magnate and Bill Gates, he dropped from college and started his own business which turned out to be the biggest success. This story inspires hundreds of college students who happened to be lost during their college. Steve jobs stood out after quitting college and started the Apple. I believe there are less roads leading to success than to success.

3月11日托福口语预测task3:

A student writes a letter to suggest that the school should prohibit laptop during lecture. Because it is distracting. Additionally there are more traditional ways to take note. But the student in the conversation disagrees with this announcement. Whoever has the problem of finding laptop distracting is not concentrating enough during class. The problem is really themselves but not the laptop. College students are adults now. Learning to concentrate is another thing they need to learn besides academic courses. Also they have right to choose listening or not as long as there is no disturbance to other students.

3月11日托福口语预测task4:
Goal displacement theory means member in an organization places too much focus on the rules and requirement to miss achieving the ultimate goal. For example, the initial purpose of requiring students to be on time is to ensure the quality of education and teaching hours of faculties. However some teachers will not allow those students late for class to come in class in order to carry through the punctuality policy. It results in students missing the whole class and casts negative impact on teaching effect. This is so-called goal displacement.

3月11日托福口语预测task5:
In the conversation the woman has a problem that her roommate watches tv all the time and she couldn’t concentrate on her study because of that. There are two possible solutions to the problem. The first is to go the library. The second is to switch a dorm. I prefer the first solution because lib is definitely a good place to study because there are plenty of reference book there. Besides the atmosphere there is pretty good. What’s more, she is gonna eventually running into her old roommate one day and nothing is gonna be more awkward than that.

3月11日托福口语预测task6:
The professor mainly talks about two forms of play. The first is representational style whose aim is to create a scene where audience forgets it’s a show they are watching. For example, an actor is having dinner on a stage. The food he eats might be authentic. And he does it without any interaction with audience like they are not even there. The second form is interactive style. Actors will make feel the show is an illusion by interacting with them. Actors having dinner again, but this time, he would talk audience, asking questions like how does the food smell or even inviting them over to join him.
