Do you often read newspapers?

-- Well, honestly, I seldom read newspapers because I prefer to get news from website. It is much more convenient than newspapers.

Do you care about news?

-- Yes, I do. Especially local news I care about the most. For example, the latest restaurant opening or the bus route changing. I think it is useful to me.

Why do people read newspapers?

--Because it’s important to know what happened around the world and get connected to this world. Newspapers are easy to carry around and harmless to eyes.

Do you like to take photography? 

--Yes, I like to take photos of beautiful view. When I am travelling, I always take many photos of mountainous forests and historical interests.

How often do you take photographs?

--I take photos everyday to record my daily meal. I think it’s interesting to memorize my own cooking as a routine. 

Do you keep your photos on your computer?

--No, I keep all my photos in my cell phone. Sometimes I will print some of the good ones and put them in the frame. 

Are there any photos on the walls of your home?

--Yes, there are two photos on the walls of my home. They are all photos of my mom when she was young. 

 

What books do you like to read?

--I like to read books about traveling because I am big fan of travel. I want to know more about the destination before I go there.

Do you still keep these books?

--Yes, I still keep these books because I will take them with me when I go traveling. There are many useful tips for me. 

Have you ever given others books as gifts?

--Honestly, I don’t do it because it’s hard to pick books for others. And girls prefer cosmetics or clothes more as gifts.

 

Explain how you felt about it 

 

Well, I’d like to talk about a story I read from a novel last month. It mainly talks about a 9-yead-old son and his father. What impressed me the most is the part about how the father teaches his son to swim in a special way. The boy was afraid of water at the beginning. But his father thought swimming was a necessary survival skill for him so he brought the boy to the river. To my surprise, the father directly threw his son into the river. Instead of teaching him how to swim, the father did nothing but just stood there. He didn't jump into the river to save his son until the boy almost drowned himself. At the end of the day, the boy learned to swim in his own way. I found the story rather interesting because normally people learn swimming in the pool. I think it is a special but effective way to learn swimming and I may use this way to learn other skills in the future.
