Well, the creative musician I want to tell you is Jay Zhou. I bet you must have heard of his name as he is an idol of all ages. I guess he is the most influential singer in my country.

I started listening to his song when I was still in primary school. He was such a hit back then for his one of a kind music style. His lyrics were always pronounced quite ambiguous with an attitude. No one ever sang songs as cool as his. He soon became a phenomenon not long after he released his first album. Now, a decade past and he remains the mostly heard singer in China. How amazing is that!

The reason why I think he is very creative is that even after years of composing music, his new song never stops surprising us. Lately he came up with a new album named “bed-time story”, actually it's a song for his new born daughter. He had this amazing ability of turning every song into Jay Zhou style. I mean, when I saw the title, I assumed it was just a mellow lullaby, but it’s actually a rap song with light beats, building up an image of a dark fairy tale in my head. He just has this magic power to produce catchy but impressive music.
