托福写作思路精准分析：

大多数考生看到这个题目后都会从Celebrities这个词出发，去想从政或者不从政对于名人有什么好处或者坏处。如果这样操作，思路相对就会比较狭窄。我们这里鼓励大家利用文章中所提供的义项建立联系。

首先，题目中除了“名人”这个概念之外，还提到了“politicians”和“politics”，无论是“政客”还是“政策”，都应该来自于政府，所以第二个义项就是“政府”。这样我们就形成了第一个链条：政府 －－ 名人。同时，我们都知道，政府并非独立存在的，其存在的目的应该是服务于人民，所以我们又有了第二条链条：政府 － － 人民。

The main thing that celebrities brings to the political stage is name recognition, which serves as a magnet to draw more attention from the average people to the political issues. Seemingly irrelevant to people's daily life, some political issues, such as policies on human rights and drug control, are anything but boring and trivial and definitely deserve more attention than that they have now. Any celebrity running for office is bound to draw more attention than a state senator looking to make a move to the political stage. Initially driven by pure admiration or affection, people will gradually be not only interested in the celebrities themselves, but also in what they stand for in politics. The people, though may or may not agree with the celebrities, are ushered into the area of politics, expressing their opinions and sharing their concerns, which will in turn help shaping a more effective government.

其次，在托福写作主体段中，可以说明：很多明星来自于基层，他们了解普通民众真正需要什么，当他们有机会参政议政的时候，会使得国家政府的方针政策更加满足百姓的需求。

Celebrities seeking their second careers in politics are from different professions, such as trade, education, entertainment, etc. Along with their name recognition is their extensive knowledge and experience, and most importantly, their understanding of what people in the same fields really want. If a celebrity from education area has the chance to be involved in politics, he knows better than other colleagues who, though familiar with how politics works, has little knowledge of education itself and the people affected. When it comes to policy making, he can express the opinions on behalf of these people involved to make the policies more suitable for the schools and students. The previous experience in different professions will be a lighthouse, not only guiding the career of celebrities, but also the future of governments and countries.
