雅思写作要求考生60分钟内完成两篇作文。
Task1 和task2 在写作总分中所占比例不同。TASK 1大概40%， TASK 2大概60%。
Task 1要求考生在20分钟内完成一篇至少150词的文章。（注：150字为最低限度，一般180－200词左右为宜。）
经常考曲线图（line chart/graph）、柱状图( bar chart) 饼状图(pie chart)和表格(table)等，也有可能考到两种不同类的图。另外，流程图（process）和地图(map)也偶尔考到。

1.客观描述图表信息
2.进行比较和对比
3.对非个人性的话题提供报告，不掺杂个人意见
4.使用图形描述语言

Task 2要求考生在40分钟内完成一篇至少250词的议论文。要求考生对某个观点发表支持或反对意见，或者讨论对立的一组观点，或者解释某种问题出现的原因并提出相应的解决办法。字数以300词左右为宜。

Argumentation:

Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

雅思不会出时事类的话题，只出争议比较大的话题。
比如：Tourism；Education ；Government；Women and families； Language and culture ；Technology and the media； Development and globalization； Crime ；Animals ；Environmental problems
