Firstly, children may mistakenly form an impression that money equals everything. During this critical period, students’ personal values are about to take shape, so any misconception would negatively affect the their mind and, even more severely, their future. If parents hold an incorrect view toward money, their children may too form an irrational and incorrect attitude toward money and assume that money is superior to everything else in the world. Naturally, once money is labeled as a reward for high grades, children will become excessively money-oriented in the future. Thus, in order to avoid turning their children into the servant of money, parents should never attach too much importance to money by relating it to school rewards. Such an action is unwise and might do harm to the mental health of children.
