The table below shows the change in oils produced in four different countries from 2000 to 2004.

Some people say that children should go to school as young as possible, while others believe that children should go to school at least 7 years old. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

早点上学：

好处：

能尽早接受正规的学校教育。在少儿时期，记忆力比较好，模仿能力强，利用这段时间多学一些知识，似乎是一个比较合理的安排。尤其在某些学科方面，年纪小的孩子有优势，比如学外语，能够更快地掌握这门语言。

关键词：receive formal education，have a good memory，be good at imitating others，reasonable arrangement，early exposure to a foreign language  

坏处：

太小的孩子，会缺少一定的常识，没有能力照顾自己；这个时候孩子应该玩耍，不应该过早束缚他们；年纪太小的孩子无法接受课堂上教的知识，而且难以专注，比方说无法安安静静地坐一小时。他们不会控制自己的行为，经常会违反纪律，这些都会影响到学校的教学进度，增加学校的管理成本，也不利于孩子的学习效果。
