Part1 Dream Job 梦想的工作

关于梦想及工作的相关表达：

工作的特点：high income 高收入，social reputation 社会地位

不同的工作： lawyer律师，accountant会计，doctor医生，businessman商人，teacher老师，professor教授，social servant 公务员，etc.

(1) What kinds of jobs are popular in China?

Well, jobs with high incomes are the most popular ones in China of course. Like lawyers, accountants, doctors or businessmen. Because people do like money most, right? Besides, jobs with high social reputation enjoy a relatively bigger popularity, like teachers, professors in the university or scholars. As for the reason, I think people like it when others show their respect to them.

(2) Have you had full-time or part-time job before?

Yes of course, I have had several both full-time jobs and part-time jobs ever since I entered the university. I believe it is a super easy way to gain social experience and put what I learned into practice. I worked as a part-time tutor to some middle school students when I was at college and then taught at several different institutes after I graduated.

(3) What was the dream job for you when you were young?

To be honest, I’ve always dreamed to be a teacher when I was young. I have been admiring my teachers ever since I was a child. I thought they were extremely important to me and I wanted to be someone who was able to make a difference to the other’s life. And now, I have kind of realized my dream.

(4) What do you plan to do in the future?

Well, I will definitely do my job well first, gain some more experience and improve my professional development. Then, maybe after a few years, I would like to start my own career. I mean, I may start an educational institute with my friends if I have the chance.

对工作的态度：give up放弃， get tired of ... 厌倦了...，be passionate about对...很有热情，a great sense of achievement巨大的成就感

(5) Have you changed your mind on your dream job?

Strangely, no. I have not changed my mind on my dream job of being a teacher. People change, right? I’ve met countless people who gave up their dreams or got tired of their interests of the childhood. I, on the other hand, have always been passionate about teaching. No matter what I teach or where I teach, I can always gain a great sense of achievement. I believe that is the reason why I stay the same over the years.
