Part1 Morning Routines

9-12月中，Morning routine是一个让多数学生不知道怎么回答的话题，不是因为这个话题有多难，而是因为太简单，于是回答出来的答案不出彩。今天我们就来看看这个话题应该怎么答。

Routine日常活动，注意发音，尤其是重音位置。

回答Routine这种问题的时候通常可以用一个流水账的形式来回答，什么时间做什么事情等等，但是仅仅是回答流水账往往会出现不知道后面说什么，或者答案过短的问题，所以我们可以提出“不通常”的时候会做什么。

What is your morning routine? /What do you do in the mornings?

Well, usually, I will get up at 7:00 in the morning, brush my teeth, wash my face and then get dressed. Also, I would like to have some breakfast if there is enough time. However recently, I have been studying for the IELTS test and I always stay up late, so occasionally, I will get up a little bit later, like at 8 or 9.

早餐这问容易答得太笼统，或者“假大空”，如果要提出吃早饭的好处的话，一定要落到实处，说一些具体的内容，不能只是说beneficial for my health

Is breakfast important?

Yes, I do believe it is pretty important to have breakfast. After a long night sleep, our body needs some energy to support the upcoming activities. And breakfast will provide us with sufficient nutrition like protein, vitamin, fiber and mineral. Also, we have a day ahead to digest the food we have in the morning, so we don’t have to worry about gaining weight. It will help us to stay vigorous and energetic.

喜欢早起或者不喜欢都OK，这一题需要用到一些地道的口语表达：

Night owl夜猫子，morning person喜欢早起的人，

Stay awake保持清醒，refreshed振作精神

Focused/concentrated 集中注意力的

Have a sharp mind思维敏捷

Do you like to get up early in the morning?

Definitely, yes! I love to get up early since I am very much a morning person. I find it difficult to stay awake at night but I feel refreshed in the morning. I like it when it is quiet and everything is fresh in the morning. Also, I can better focus on my work and study. I think it’s so much more efficient for me at that time.
