雅思阅读到底难在哪里？

雅思热搜包年，每一次阅读都贡献了不少的力量。

虽然中国考生的雅思阅读为四科平均总成绩中最高，但是仍然有很大一批考生在拖后腿，处在6分的边缘徘徊，就像是打不破的魔咒，你看看自己，是在说你吗？所以，雅思阅读到底难在哪？

可能的情况太多，拥有的时间太少。

雅思阅读要在60分钟内完成40道题目，即使不考虑填涂答题卡所需的时间，平均每道题目也仅有1.5分钟的处理时间。在极有限的时间内，即使把每道题目对应的“出题句”直接给你，在“词性词义选择、语法结构识别、上下文语境判断”方面，可能面临的情况太多，也难免会焦头烂额！ 

1.词性词义选择 

剑4，89页第二段第一句中：

“Nutrition is another area that sports trainers have failed to address adequately.”

其中，sports trainers的意思是“体育教练”，address是动词，意思是“解决，处理”。

2.语法结构识别 

剑6，48页第一段第二句中：

“From earliest childhood we are so bound up with our system of numeration that it is a feat of imagination to consider the problems faced by early humans who had not yet developed this facility.” 

其中：

A be bound up with B是固定搭配，意思是“A和B密切相关”； 

so…that…结构，意思是“如此…以至于…”，其中that…是结果状语从句； 

it is…to…结构，it做形式主语，指后面的to consider the problems；

faced by early humans是过去分词，做problems的后置定语； 

who had not yet developed this facility是定语从句，修饰early humans。

3.上下文语境判断 

上面第二点中提到的剑6，48页第一段第二句：

“From earliest childhood we are so bound up with our system of numeration that it is a feat of imagination to consider the problems faced by early humans who had not yet developed this facility.” 

其中：

it is… to…结构，it做形式主语，指后面的to consider the problems，大家必须能够结合上下文明白“to consider the problems”的人应该是“we”； 

而it is a feat to consider the problems中，feat的意思是“功绩”，“（我们）考虑这些问题是一个想象力的功绩” ，结合上下文理解，意思应该是“这些问题很难考虑清楚”。

综上，考生要对词性词义、常见语法结构全面掌握，又要能根据上下文语境做出合适选择，而要做到这些，必须进行精读！
