多听
首先觉得想要提高听力做题速度,最传统也是最有效的解决方法就是多听。
除了反复练耳朵别无捷径(No easy way)。
大声朗读文章
听和说是有一定联系的。
因此大家平时可以大声朗读文章(read aloud),并且保持一定的速度。
快速地朗读在一定程度上是可以促进(promote)听力水平的提高的,需要注意的是,朗读时要记得考察自己的读音是否正确标准(correct),否则适得其反。
其次英语基础不牢固会导致对英语词汇的辨识度不够,所以不论是“听”还是“说”,都一定要结合正确的发音(pronunciation)。
多跟读材料
听和说是息息相关的。如果听力不好那么口语(speaking)可能就不太好,反之亦然。
很多时候因为我们的发音不好甚至不对,句子重音移位甚至错位,导致我们对本来是正确的英语句子和单词产生了“无法辨识”的错觉,大脑根本无法处理(deal with)这些信息。因为平时习惯了那些错误的声音。就算能够勉强做出正确的理解,听力材料也可能已经过了一大半了。
对于这一类原因,建议平时多跟读正确的材料,例如各种新闻广播(news broadcast)来达到纠正发音和练习听力的双重效果,此外在平时做练习时有意识地将自己的发音与标准发音有出入的词记下来并强化训练,保证以后不再有类似错误(mistakes)。
积累词汇量
最后就是英语词汇量(vocabulary)不够从而影响到做题速度,所以就需要考生在平时积累一定的词汇量。
很多考生有这样的经历,单词听到了理解了就是写不出来就是因为单词的形体和读音之间还没有建立起稳定的联系(stable connection)。
对于这种情况,一是要在平时记单词的时候大声朗读(注意保证读音的质量),通过综合刺激形成稳固印象(expression);二是平时练习时多搜集此类听得懂但写不出的词。
