Some people argue/advocate that making friends with smart people will bring more benefits/do us good along the way. But the idea of having humorous friends appeals to me.

A nation cannot prosper without sound policies from its leaders. Some people/citizens argue that providing more jobs is more important than/should be given more emphasis than developing agriculture and offering cheap/inexpensive housing/accommodation. I, however, think developing agriculture should be on the top of priority list.

3. 注意，开头段我们的要求是：但求无过。逻辑清晰，表达准确。留下充裕的时间给更为重要的中间段写作。所以不要太过纠结开头段的表达是否是非常出彩。
