雅思听力Part 4填空题这样练才能拿高分

在雅思听力考试部分，大部分考鸭普遍觉得填空题要易于选择题和配对题，因为对于相当多的填空题，我们只需要关注答案词对应的那一块儿细节，然后抓住答案词就好了，而选择题和配对题则需要我们全盘综合理解，稍微漏听一句，可能答案就选不对了。

也正因为如此，很多考鸭可能会倾向于轻视填空题，认为做选择题部分时不需要听懂录音，只要抓到答案词就好了。

但是，这种心理定势会让你丢分哦，因为有时候，如果你不去听懂录音内容，你一定抓不到填空题的答案，这尤其出现在part 4填空题部分，这对想拿听力高分的同学来说，是一个不小的伤害。不信我们来看一道题：

Then a Canadian biologist called Boris Worm did some research in 2005 on data on ocean species that he got from the fishing industry. Worm located five hotspots for large ocean predators like sharks, and looked at what they had in common. The main thing he’d expected to find was that they had very high concentrations of food, but to his surprise that was only true for four of the hotspots - the remaining hotspot was quite badly off in that regard.

解析

题目问：

大型捕食者的ocean hotspots在什么方面不总是很丰富，答案是food。

但录音中表达的是：

研究者Worm定位了五个热点区，找它们的共同点，他本来期望发现这些区域有高度集中的食物，但让他惊讶的是，只有其中四个区域是这样，剩下的区域在这方面相当差。

在这道题目中，题目信息在录音中并没有直接的对应，我们如果只是停留在题干信息上，而不去听懂篇章的意思，这个答案肯定会错过。

And finally,excellence. We all knowcompanies that claim they 'strive for excellence', but it takes a long time toachieve excellence. In business,being first with a product is more profitable than having the best product. A major studyof company performance compared pioneers -- that is, companies bringing out thefirst version of a particular product -- with followers, the companies that copiedand improved on that product. The study found that the pioneers commandedan average market share of 29 percent, while thefollowers achieved less than half that, only 13 percent - even though their product might have been better.
