雅思听力中这些词就是答案出现的信号

雅思听力考试中，原文中一些词汇的出现，是答案出现的信号；下面为大家总结一些信号词的类型，大家可以结合审题技巧和信号词的辨别，提高自己的正确率。

表转折的词语

如but, instead, however 等

例题：C10 T1 S2 Q11

题干：Which TWO facilities at the leisure club have recently been improved?

原文：Our greatest asset is probably our swimming pool which at 25 metres isn't Olympic-size,but now we've expanded it to eight lanes, it's much wider.

解析：雅思听力中经常把转折词前的内容设为干扰项，正确答案放在转折词之后，如本题的干扰项为swimming pool at 25 metres，正确答案为but之后的泳道增加。

表时间的词语

（1）时间状语：today, recently, currently 等

例题：C10 T1 S4 Q35

题干：It is currently found on a small number of...

原文：Today, the spirit bear lives off the coast of the province of British Columbia on a few islands.

解析：雅思听力中，经常会在时间上设置干扰项，比如题目问的是currently的情况，而听力原文会提及过去、未来的情况作为干扰项，在加上一个现在的情况(today)作为正确答案，因此考生需要仔细审题与听取表示现在的信号词。

（2）具体时间词

例题：C6 T2 S4 Q35

题干：In 1895, a famous new system was developed by...

原文：Then in 1895, three systems were all developed, more or less at the same time and independently of each other. I guess the most famous of these was by the Lumeiere Brothers from France.

解析：雅思听力中，当题干出现准确的时间描述，例如1895年，一般为了精确度，听力原文中不会对这种精确时间进行同义替换，所以这种词汇可以作为一个信号词，但是要注意可能会出现答案出现在信号词之前的情况。

表原因的词语

如influence, cause, factor等

例题：C10 T2 S4 Q29

题干：Management styles changes influenced by 39 _______ taking senior roles.

原文：The predominant style of management will almost certainly become more consultative and collaborative, caused above all, by more women moving into senior management positions.

解析：听力原文中表示原因的词组之后往往接着答案词，这种情况在填空题中比较常见，当审题时发现空格前有表示原因、影响等词语时，要注意听取听力原文中同样表原因的词汇。例如本题中题干空格前是”influenced by”，说明要求找出影响management styles的因素，因此听力原文中caused by后的内容就是答案，即女性获得高层职位。

题干：Habitat is being lost due to deforestation and construction of 36 _______ by logging companies.

表例子的词语

如 for example, for instance, such as等

例题：C10 T1 S4 Q34

题干：Tree roots stop 34 ________ along salmon streams.

原文:For example, the old-growth trees have extremely long roots that help prevent erosion of the soil along the banks of the many fish streams.

解析：雅思听力中往往用例子介绍说明论点，属于细节性的描述，而section 4很多填空题也喜欢在细节处设置答案，因此考生在听到for example, for instance, such as之类表示例子的词语的时候，要注意听清楚后面的内容。例如本题中的题干tree roots就出现在for example 之后，答案词”erosion”就出现在这一句中。
