【版本1】代词考得挺多的 有个题专门就是split 代词, its/it/还有名词

【版本2】A city 的人earn。。。，less than that the B city。。(that划线，考的代词)

选项有：1.that the amount resident

【版本3】对比的应该是A city的人挣的钱比B city的人挣的钱多，所以就是钱比钱。这个也考到了，最后半句...earned more than。选项有 the amount in that country, that country 就记得这连个选项

l 代词所指代的先行词必须是一个名词。

l 代词与先行词的单复数必须一致。

l 代词指代必须清晰，若有ambiguity的情况就需要换掉代词。

例：╳Researchers claim to have developed new “nano-papers” incorporating tiny cellulose fibers, which THEY allege give THEM the strength of cast iron.(they和them分别指代什么?指代不清，不确定到底是researchers还是papers)

√Researchers claim to have developed new “nano-papers” incorporating tiny cellulose fibers, which give THESE MATERIALS the strength of cast iron, according to the researchers.

l 关于this/these/that/those

例1：√The money spent by her parents is less than that spent by her children.

(当用以上四个代词指代一个“new copy或copies时，必须加上描述说明此new copy与所指代的名词有何不同。即句子中的that指代money，spent by her children则说明与前面的money的区别)

例2：╳ Her company is outperforming THOSE OF her competitors.

√ Her company is outperforming THE COMPANIES OF her competitors

(若是遇到new copy与所指代的名词单复数形式不一样的时候，则重复名词)

例3：╳Her products are unusual; many consider these unique.

√Her products are unusual; many consider them unique.

(除了例1、例2，即在比较时有new copy的情况可以用this/that/these/those去指代名词，其他情况下不要用这四个代词指代名词，换成it/they/them)

l 版本2：

1. 对比的应该是A city的人挣的钱比B city的人挣的钱多，所以就是钱比钱。

2. 要注意的是than后面到底用什么来指代这个money，money是抽象的整体性名词，一般用that或it。(但that和it所表达的money是不一样的，that是表达两种不同的money，如上面的例1;用it表达的money是同一份，如The money spent by her parents is more than IT was expected to be.)

3. 关于the amount，修饰不可数名词。
