一般案例：

The development of technology also brings about environment degradation, which is regarded as the most complex problem in modern society. It did play as an obstacle in the way of improvement of people’s life. However, as more and more scholar involved in these environment areas, new resources that are more cleaning will be developed and used widely. In this way, I maintain that people will solve this complicated problem, and will experience more wonderful life in the future.

高分案例：

Unprecedented deforestation in Amazon rainforest, revealed by some satellite images, has led to species extinction and natural resource contract. Unsurprisingly, this unpleasant consequence has been accounted for scientific progression and its unceasing demand for resources. Yet, if we dig deeper, the accelerating technology has never been on the same boat with illegal exploitation, which has always been the real culprit to be blamed. Plus, what has been done could only be fixed by scientific improvement. Surveillance satellite cameras, wireless alarming system on trespassing, simulation on endangered tree transplantation, etc., all of these top-notch technologies will be applied to undo our faults and make lives simpler for those innocent inhabitants in Amazon rainforest and other places alike.

首先，思路问题。让步段的出现是因为有很大一部分学生想不出来第三个正方证明的理由，加之如果有反方观点论述的话，会让文章观点更加全面。但是无论是怎样，让步段也是一个佐证中心观点的段落，而并非起到削弱的作用。一般案例中，让步段所要证明的观点却变成了“虽然科技会导致一些问题，会让我们的生活变得复杂，但是还是会有一些新的科技出现，新的能源出现来让我们的生活变的更加美好”，这个命题错再哪儿？这个命题只是不够准确，文章的中心议题既然是证明以后的科技会比现在的科技更好，我们就应该从这个方面入手。高分案例中，观点是这样的“人们认为科学进步带来复杂的问题=>其实不然，正在的元凶是滥砍滥伐=>只有科技的发展才能制止这个复杂的问题”。所以，思路一定要做到，否定让步并且论证自己的中心观点，这个才是让步段正在应该起的作用。

其次，语言问题。这个一般案的语言其实也不算很弱，但是我们分析一下这个高分案例的语言。

contract这个词其实大家一般都知道是合同的意思，但是实际上它还有缩减的意思。

consequence这个词要特别注意一下，有很多同学些作文的思路都是喜欢把中文直接翻译过去，这样做有一个弊端就是会把一些中文的意思带进去翻译，比如这里，consequence在NOAD(New Oxford American Dictionary)里面有明确的解释，consequence是一般用在negative的后果，所以这里不用写成unpleasant negative consequence，这样反而会显得redundant 。

后面，“be on the same boat”和“dig deeper”都是比较地道的表达法，前者表示和某人一起处于一个不是很好的情况里，后者的意思是仔细研究，如果这些表达法在大家的作文中出现，无疑会增加大家作文的分数。

Surveillance satellite cameras, wireless alarming system on trespassing, simulation on endangered tree transplantation，这三项其实都是托福听力中有出现的，或者生活中有的，我们需要的就是要提供这些细节。
