　　学生如果要在一个小时内顺利完成三篇文章的理解并回答完配套的40道题，必须能够娴熟地操作此过程。

　　比如剑桥真题系列10的Test Two中有篇文章"Tea and the Industrial Revolution"里有这样一句话，"There are about 20 different factors and all of them need to be present before the revolution can happen"。我们据此可以预测下文该罗列这些因素了，从而迅速把握作者此处的思想脉络。

　　再比如剑10中的另一篇文章"Autumn Leaves"里，在第三段末尾有这样一句话"But it is hard to make sense of the manufacture of anthocyanins--- why should a tree bother making new chemicals in its leaves when it's already scrambling to withdraw and preserve the ones already there?"

　　紧接着第四段开头出现"Some theories about anthocyanins have argued that…"，我们可以预测这些理论会被否定掉，然后在检验的过程中会果然发现后面的转折"However there are problems with each of these theories,…"。

　　然后第五段开头有"It has also been proposed that…"，我们可以预测这个观点也不会被作者所接受，经检验，会发现后面的"The flaw in this theory lies in…"，从而确定之前的预测。然后，第六段首句的"Perhaps the most plausible suggestion as to… is …"告诉我们这个理论才是作者要重点探讨的。
