In the Bachelor's program Online Culture: Art, Media and Society you will study expressions of art, communication and culture in a world shaped by digitalization and globalization. Specialize in the second year by choosing one of our majors: Digital Media, Global Communication or Art in the Public Sphere. Theology offers you a variety of interesting topics in which you learn to think thoroughly about people, society and the christian faith. You will learn to read the Bible in its source languages Greek, Hebrew and Latin. You can also study this program on a part-time basis.

BSc Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence

In the Bachelor’s program Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence you will learn about artificial intelligence (the study of computers and software that can perform intelligent behavior) in combination with the science of human cognition: the study of thinking, language, learning, and mental representations in relation to other psychological processes that involve attention, observation, memory, use of language, and decision making. This combination enables you to develop technological innovations that benefit society.

BSc Econometrics and Operations Research

This quantitative program will teach you how to use mathematical models to describe and analyze everyday problems that arise in business and in the public sector. In contrast to pure math or engineering the Bachelor's program in Econometrics and Operations Research is focused on developing math skills which can be applied to any real life question. You’ll learn how to use math to optimize processes, simplify procedures or analyze a set of data.

In the Bachelor's program in Economics you will study how people, firms and governments make certain decisions (microeconomics) and how these decisions affect the economy as a whole (macroeconomics). You will learn how to use economic models to study and forecast changes in the local and global economic landscape.

BSc Global Management of Social Issues

The Bachelor's program in Global Management of Social Issues integrates knowledge from three academic fields in the social sciences: human resource studies, organization studies, and sociology, from a cross-cultural and international comparative perspective. You will learn to approach complex societal challenges in an international context. You will learn how to run projects and to compose teams of experts that work on the so called ‘wicked problems’ mentioned above.

BSc Human Resource Studies: People Management

In the Bachelor's program in Human Resources Studies: People Management, you will study the human side of business (people management). You will focus on the performance and efficiency of organizations as well as the well-being of employees. People, work and management issues are approached from different disciplinary perspectives: psychology, sociology, economics and management studies.

The Bachelor's program in International Business Administration provides you with a solid educational foundation in the four core pillars of an international business: management and organization, marketing, finance, and accounting. BSc International Sociology

The Bachelor's program in International Sociology focuses on the dynamics between man and society. You study social themes such as migration, poverty and inequality, and cultural differences, while connecting these themes to politics and policy. Depending on your ambitions and interests, in your second year you make a choice of two specializations: 'Culture in comparative perspective' or 'Social risks in a changing world'.

BSc New Media Design

In the international Bachelor’s track in New Media Design you research the design proces of new media applications and learn how academic research can be used to study the factors that increase the impact of new media. With your knowledge you are the bridge between designers, (software) developers and consumers, in order to jointly think of and design impactful new media. Central themes within this process are ensuring an optimal user experience and achieving the desired result (for example: behavioral change, education or entertainment).

In the Dutch-taught Bachelor's program in Personeelwetenschappen the balance between business results and the interests of workers is central: you learn to investigate, study and discuss this in a coherent way. You will deepen your knowledge in various disciplines, such as psychology, sociology, economics, law and management sciences: crucial to understand the different facets of the employment relationship.

Psychology is the study of mind and behavior. It’s a study about people: about who we are, how we think and feel, and why we do or don't make certain decisions. In the English-taught bachelor's program in Data Science, you learn to analyze the large amounts of data that today's society operates on. You learn to spot trends for businesses, government agencies or nonprofit organizations. Besides the technical side of the program, you will be focusing on societal issues - legal, social, ethical, business, and entrepreneurial - relating to Data Science.

Get ready for a new way of learning law: the bachelor's program in Global Law combines insights from multiple legal systems rather than studying law by reference to one national law only. Develop skills to understand and deal with challenges from multiple points of view and become the linking pin in international organizations.
