转专业申请需要修读哪些先修课？

近期很多学生咨询转专业申请是否可行?转专业申请是可以的，不过很多专业都是有先修课要求的，老师今天就以美国院校转专业申请金工/金数需要提前修读哪些课程为例：

以哥伦比亚大学为例

如果是金融工程, 学校要求学生修读过以下数学课

概率论probability,微积分 calculus 线性代数 linear algebra

如果是金融数学

Prerequisites

Applicants should have a very good working knowledge of calculus, linear algebra, elementary differential equations, probability, and statistics, and a programming language.

Exposure to advanced calculus and mathematical analysis, including measure theory, is desirable but not required.

Mood, Graybill & Boes: “Introduction to the Theory of Statistics”

Rudin: “Principles of Mathematical Analysis”

To gain admission, whether full-time, part-time, or non-degree, an applicant must demonstrate a high aptitude for quantitative reasoning. He or she must have a firm grasp of mathematics at a high undergraduate level, which includes at least the following Mathematics courses:

Multivariate calculus (including partial derivatives, multiple integrals, and Taylor series)

Linear algebra (including linear systems of equations, determinants, matrix factorization, range and null space, and eigenvalues of symmetric matrices)

Calculus-based course in probability (independence, conditional probabilities, Gaussian distribution, law of large numbers, central limit theorem)

？ Evidence of computational programming skills (for example, C++) and familiarity with computers as computational and management tools熟练掌握计算机编程技巧, 比如C++

金融工程排名第一的纽约巴鲁克学院课程要求:

Prerequisites. Applicants are required to have taken the following minimal set of courses:

Calculus (two semesters)2个学期的微积分

Probability (one semester)1个学期的概率论

Linear Algebra (one semester)1个学期的线性代数

C++ (one semester or certificate)1个学期或者1个证书 C++

Finance (one semester, or relevant work experience)

建议要在本科之内最好是申请的时候或之前, 完成以下课程

微积分Calculus 最好是有深度的 不仅仅是一个学期而已

概率论 Probability

统计学Statistics 而不是简单的Business Statistics

线性代数Linear Algebra

多元微积分multivariate calculus

微分方程differential equations

编程语言Programming学会C++或者JAVA 二选一; 最好是C++

学会MATLAB 还有数学建模，如果这些条件不能达到或者不能完全达到，那么可能到时候申请STEM金融硕士的可能性会更大一些，商学院STEM金融硕士的数理要求没有金融数学/金融工程那么严苛。
